Your Guide to the Snuggie Crawl
The event is Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, from 7 p.m. to midnight.
The embroidered Beat the Bitter Snuggie included in your registration is your ticket the night of the event and is the only Snuggie that will get you on the buses, free appetizers, and access to bar specials and activities. Snuggies need to be picked up in advance – details at the bottom of this page.
The Bus Route
Start the night at whichever participating location you’d like. The beauty of this event is that the night is on your schedule, and you can jump on and off the bus at whatever stop you wish.
Busing will begin at 7 p.m. and depart approximately every 10 minutes for the duration of the event from each stop. No need to chug your drink and rush outside when you see a bus pull up. The loop will follow this order: Tin Roost → Copper Boar → Field Day → Micky’s → Reds and J&A Tap → Tin Roost → Copper Boar → and so on. If you miss one, don’t worry; the next departure will only be a few minutes away.
One final drop-off loop at midnight. The last pick-up is at 12 a.m., at which time buses will make one final loop to all stops for drop-offs only. If you still need a safe ride, take advantage of the $5 Lyft voucher included in your ticket with code SNUGGIE24.
Please consider tipping the drivers who are providing your safe transportation. Absolutely no smoking or alcohol will be allowed on the buses.

Stop by the Unique Events photo booth at Field Day between 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. for a free photo strip of your group rocking your Snuggies.
Best Dressed
A fun tradition of the Snuggie Crawl is to add your own flair. Breakout that BeDazzler and alter your Snuggie however you’d like (the Snuggies are navy blue this year, if that helps get your wheels turning). You certainly don’t have to amp up your Snuggie attire, but there is a Best Dressed Snuggie title up for grabs that secures you a pair of free tickets to next year’s crawl. Check out individual and group looks from past contests in 2023, 2020, 2019 and 2018.
Two pairs of tickets to next year’s Snuggie Crawl are on the line. One pair will go to the winner of Public Choice, the other to the winner of Beat the Bitter Committee Choice. If you want to be in the running, here’s how it works:
- Summon your inner designer and put your own twist on your Snuggie.
- Take a picture with the “VOTE FOR ME!” prop in the photo booth at Field Day Brewing.
- We’ll share an album of submissions on the Beat the Bitter Facebook page the week of Feb. 6, and the photo with the most LIKES will win the title of Public Choice. Committee Choice will be announced at the same time.
Optional Donation to Shelter House
Donation bins will be at each stop to collect unwanted Snuggies at the end of the night for Shelter House. If you choose to donate your Snuggie, make sure to only do so at your last stop, as bus drivers are directed to only let Snuggie wearers on the buses. Donation bins will be near the doors of each bar. Only non-decorated Snuggies, please.
