Idita Pod Race

You and your quarantine pod have exactly 90 minutes to get around North Liberty, locate the secret spots from a list of clues, take photos, solve riddles and score points. The game starts at 3 SHARP on Saturday, Feb. 6.
Collect your clues and instructions at the North Liberty Community Center, 520 W. Cherry St., at 3 p.m. sharp, figure out where you’re heading and how you can score the most points. From there, you’ll visit secret locations and upload photos to prove you made it. The team with the most points at 4:30 p.m. — and not a moment later — will be crowned the winner.
This in-person event is Covid-conscious. Your team should be made of up of members of your pod, and you should wear masks and distance at the locations. The scavenger hunt is family friendly, but at a minimum your team should include a legal driver and second person who can help navigate as well as take photos and upload them with a smartphone.
Additional details will be sent to team leaders in advance. The winning team will be announced Friday, Feb. 12.
