North Liberty’s Beat the Bitter is back with a week full of activities to get you out of the house for some outdoor winter games and good cheer. Join us on the tundra of North Liberty January 28 through February 3, 2018, for fun on the bleakest days of the year. Some events do require registration, snag your spot here.

5K-ish Obstacle Run
February 3 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 pm$15.00
The 5K-ish Obstacle Run is a fun run with over a dozen obstacles! Runners will complete the course around the tundra of Penn Meadows Park, executing the obstacle challenges on loops one and three and only running on the second loop. This run isn’t officially timed, but it does promise to be a good time.
Registration includes a finisher medal and is only $15 through Jan. 1, 2018. Registration will then increase to $20 through Feb. 1, and again to $25 day-of. Register through the ticket window below beginning Monday, Nov. 20 at noon.
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers will each receive a $50, $25, and $15 gift cards, respectively, to the North Liberty Recreation Center.
The race begins at 9 a.m. and is restricted to ages 14 and up. A signed waiver is required day-of to compete. Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. at the pavilion in Penn Meadows Park.
